The iTable Shopify app enables you to create and manage responsive tables for your product pages or other areas of your store, which is ideal for showcasing product specifications, pricing, size charts, or comparisons. You can easily install the app from the Shopify App Store and start creating tables by entering data manually or importing it from a CSV file. After creating your table, customize its appearance and embed it into your store using the provided shortcode.
Save your changes to display the table on the front end. Additionally, you can export your table data for editing and re-import it as needed. For detailed instructions on specific features like creating tables or copying shortcodes, refer to the relevant guides provided within the app.
The iTable Shopify app allows merchants to create and manage responsive tables that can be embedded into their product pages or other parts of their Shopify store. This can be useful for displaying product specifications, pricing tables, size charts, or comparison tables.
How It Works:
1. Install the App: First, you need to install the iTable app from the Shopify App Store.
2. Create a Table: Once installed, access the app from your Shopify admin panel, then create a new table by entering the required rows and columns or importing data from a CSV file.
If you want more detailed information on how to create a table, you can check our ‘Create New Table‘ guide. Additionally, if you want to learn how to import a table, please refer to our ‘Importing‘ guide.
3. Customize the Table: You can then customize the table’s look and feel, adding borders, adjusting colors, or applying custom CSS if needed.
4. Embed the Table: After creating the table, you’ll be given a shortcode. Copy the shortcode and paste it into the relevant section of your Shopify store, such as a product description or a CMS page or blog.
If you want more detailed information on how to copy the shortcode, you can check our ‘How to Copy Shortcode‘ guide. We have also created a guide on how to add a table to a product page, CMS page, and blog. You can check that guide as well.
5. Save: Once you’ve embedded the table where you want it, save your changes, and the table will be displayed on the front-end of your store.
6. Exporting table: Exporting allows you to download your table’s data (usually in CSV format), which you can open and edit using spreadsheet software.
After making your changes (e.g., updating multiple rows/columns at once), you can re-import the modified file using the import feature.
The “Exporting Guide” would typically explain how to initiate the export process, what file formats are supported, and any specific steps involved in bulk editing and re-importing the data.
